The Adventure of Woody and Buzz Lightyear
We all know that Woody and Buzz Lightyear are good friends in the movie─Toy Story. However, there is another type of story to testify their friendship.
In Toy Town, there was a cow boy named Woody. He always had a pistol taken by his side. He was also a selfish and greedy guy. But Woody’s friend, Buzz Lightyear, was a man with sense of justice and kindness. Sometimes Woody and Buzz had quarrels, but they were still good friends.
One day they took a walk at the coast. Woody saw a mermaid sitting on a huge stone and thought the mermaid’s beautiful tail was precious, so he decided to shoot the mermaid
by his pistol. Unluckily, the mermaid died at once. And then Woody soon took a scale from mermaid’s beautiful tail. Buzz was so angry about Woody’s way of doing because of his greed. But Woody didn't care about others thinking. After they got back to the home, Woody had a bad night. The terrible thing had begun. Woody had nightmares day after day. And Buzz once dreamed that the king of the manager─ Sea dragon, told him the mermaid was a pure and noble creature in this world. And what Woody had done to the mermaid would become a curse. Therefore, the only thing to remove this curse was to have a hard trial in the coast. After it finished saying, Sea dragon was gone, and Buzz woke up immediately, feeling surprised at the moment. Feeling uncertain though, he went to Woody’s home to tell him his dream.
After that, Woody took the scale of mermaid, backing to the coast with Buzz. After a while, the Sea dragon came out from the sea and gave them two cups of water.
The sea dragon said seriously, "one of the cups was added poison, either of you must drink one of them, or Woody's curse will not end dreaming."
Feeling tensely, Woody and Buzz had a short discussion. At this moment,
an eagle was hovering in the sky, causing Woody's attention. All of a sudden, Woody looked at the sky and then pointed to it rightly, shouted, "Buzz, look!"
By this time, Woody drank two cups of water without Buzz's attention. And then Woody was fallen down in swoon. Buzz was freaking out for what Woody had done! He felt so worried and upset that Woody treated himself in this way. Nevertheless, the Sea dragon had seen all of this, still were serious as usual, and said Woody just got a hypnotic.
After waking up, Woody had testified about removing his bad behavior for his friend, Buzz Lightyear. And this, was like the mermaid, symbolized the noble and pure heart and mind. After this adventure, Woody dared not to be greedy and he never had nightmares afterwards.
Happily, he was getting better in his life with Buzz Lightyear in the end.
